Company housing & terminations

Texas employer here with a company that provides housing to some employees. Question is...When an employee is fired, how much time is legally required to allow the employee to move out of company housing?

I might add this employee was terminated for harassment of other employees and dishonesty. Of course we would like to see him gone yesterday. Any suggestions?

Check your local statutes relative to resident apartment managers, which may be some guidance. In my state, company-provided housing (e.g., for an apartment manager) does not create a tenancy and the employee is not covered by Oregon landlord-tenant protections. Therefore, if we terminate an apartment manager we can expect them to vacate immediately (as a customary practice, we usually give them 24-72 hours depending upon the nature of the termination).
