HIPAA HELP

Hello all,
Once again there is something new to me...HIPAA, which I already hate. I consult on HR issuses for 3 private educational institutions. One is fully insured BCBS and the other 2 are self insured through churches I believe.

I am very new to HIPAA and know the minimum so any help here would be appreciated. I basically need to know what all I need to do to be compliant with HIPAA

I know that each of these institutions are considered to be SMALL - Compliant by April 2004.

So any direction pointing would be GREAT!

If you go to the Health and Human Services website ([url]www.hhs.gov[/url]) there is quite a bit of information regarding HIPAA.
