upcoming symposium

anyone planning on attending the 2003 advanced employment issues symposium in either New Orleans or Las Vegas? My company usually sends me every other year. I went last year, so I wasn't going to go this year, but the topics of this years look so good that I'm hoping I can attend again this year.

I'd love to go and have mentioned it, but I doubt if it will happen. When he found out it was in Las Vegas (closest venue for me), he just rolled his eyes and said, "Yeah, right!" Tough enough to get my boss to fork over the $$ for the annual subscription to this thing, let alone the money for the conference.

Money is tight for us as well and I feel very fortunate to have gone to these conferences in the past. Maybe I shouldn't press my luck.

I'm going to be teaching a pre-conference session and speaking on the first day in both Las Vegas and New Orleans. We ought to plan a Forumite meeting (Happy Hour!) somewhere for those that are attending. Anyone interested?

Margaret, your pre-conference session sounds really good. I finally got the ok to go to the symposium in Vegas, now I am working on getting the ok for your session. I would also love to meet up with anyone who is interested.

Dang! I just requested to go to the Missouri Bankers Conference (see thread)and there's no way they'll spring for both. Oh, well.
