Affirmative Action Language

We do not currently have an affirmative action policy, although when time permits, it is something I would like to look in to. Our Sr. VP wants to include some type language in our new employee handbook regarding affirmative action. (he is for it) Any ideas?

Are you required to have an AAP. If you aren't required to have an AAP, I would not put one together as they are very time consuming and involve a lot of tracking and paperwork. That said, you can have an equal opportunity statement or a diversity program.
