  • I believe that the deadline to file with the EEOC is always 310 days, regardless of your state. There may be a separate, work-sharing, agency with whom the employee must file their claim first. For example, in CT, an employee has 180 days to their complaint with the Connecticut Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities. They MUST file with the agency in order to bring a suit in court later.
