I am drafting a severance agreement for an employee who resides in the State of New York. Our company is located in Wisconsin. In Wisconsin, employment laws generally fall under the Wisconsin Fair Employment Act. So, that wording is typically inserted into these agreements. Does anyone know the title of the NY state law covering discrimination in employment? I called the Division of Human Rights and they said it was "Article 15 of the New York State Executive Law." Is this correct?
