HRIS

We are a medical billing and healthcare facility with approximately 1200 employees. Or HR system is very old. Our HR system does not talk to our payroll system and finance. We are running three different systems. We want to move into the 21st century and have a system to interface with GL/Ap, finance, payroll and HR. We have narrowed it down to Lawson and People Soft. Does anyone out there have any experience with any of these vendors? If you have recently gone through a conversion, do you have any do's or don'ts that may be helpful. Thanks.
