Job Title - Need Help!

Does anyone have a Corporate Development Manager or Director in their organization? Currently, we are trying to find out what that title really encompasses and should we change it to something else. Our Corporate Development manager currently supervises the following: Marketing, Public Relations, Customer Service, Technical Support, Human Resources, Commercial and Residential sales, Production(television studio), and Business Development.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to a more appropriate title? Also, we are a municipal utility company, if that helps. Thanks in advance!

I don't know how helpful this will be, but my husband is the Development Director at a large non-profit here in Minneapolis. In that world, "development" always means fund-raising. So, based on your post, the manager in question wouldn't properly be titled "development."

I like your title. We are a municipality and we have a business development manager, but your duties in the position are far exceeding what we have. Again, I like your title.
