Flexible Spending Accounts revisited

Hi,
I am posting this in the Benefits Forum as well, but this Forum seems to get more attention.
We currently have a Medical FSA in place. The wife of one of our Sr. VPs just gave birth to their first child. Having never had a child before, he is trying to "guess"-timate what the annual out-of-pocket medical expenses might be for the normal well-baby check ups and whatever else goes into the medical care of a newborn. Do any of you know of anywhere I might find an approximate benchmark, a ballpark figure? Of course, expenses will vary depending on the amount of required copays, geographical region, etc. I've never seen anything in print, but it never hurts to ask.

Whenever employees ask me a question like that I tell them to get some estimates from their doctor/or insurance company and so far that has worked for me. I would not try to guess or estimate for them because if you are way off, they will blame you.
