Interview Presentations?

We are working to hire a business development coordinator. Because this position requires frequent presentations, as part of our interview process we would like to have each candidate we are interviewing prepare and present a 3-5 minute presentation using materials we send them about our products and services.

I am wondering first, if anyone has had success/problems with this type of exercise, and second, if so, do you use a standard rating sheet for the presentation portion of the interview that you might be able to share with me?

While I'm asking for input, if you have similar positions, are there any interview questions you find particularly helpful?
