Employment Law in Puerto Rico

I need help or maybe just direction. I have picked up the region of Puerto Rico and learning the different laws of that area. I need to know the guidelines, if there are any, or any laws that may or may not exist when discussing suspension of employment. When are we allowed to suspend? Do we have to give notice? Must we follow a progression discipline process? Can we suspend without pay if they are exempt? Can we suspend for investigations, violations of safety policies, etc...
If anyone out there is familiar with the Puerto Rico Policy, please direct me to where I can find specifics on these laws.
