How to run a meeting?

Does anyone have a good resource (article, book or website) for "How to run a meeting effectively"? We are doing a series of discussions with our managers and this is an area they would like to cover. I'd like to offer them some tools - but haven't seen anything on this topic.

Get a copy of the video (or rent it) of John Cleese's "Meetings, Bloody Meetings." There are some GREAT tips in it for conducting effective meetings and keeping the meeting on track. And it's entertaining. Your managers won't drift off when they watch it.

Haven't seen that video but would check it out. This is a bit simple, and not the entire Meeting Management Program, but at a previous place of employment we used the following

P Always have a purpose and state it

L Define the lengthn the meeting will be and STICK TO IT

A Have a written agenda (we would also assign times to each item)

N Next steps. .

I have used several topics - including "Planning and running an Effective Meeting" from the textbook, "Interpersonal Skills In Organizations". This is a good resource book for management/supervisory training - as well as the text I used in teaching a college class.
