Employee almost comes to work under the influence

I need some suggestions on this one. I had an employee call off 1/2 hour after her shift was to start. At my company this is considered a no call no show and will result in a warning letter. I read the paper the next day and discovered this employee was picked up for operating while intoxicated that day 10 minutes prior to her start time. So, the story looks at though she was on her way to work (allegedly under the influence) and was stopped by the police and never made it in. My concern is if she had never been stopped, she would have been at work under the influence. Is there anything I can do or say about this?
