Minnesota Parenting Leave

Under the Minnesota Parenting Leave Policy, employees are entitled to 16 hours of unpaid leave to attend school conferences, programs, etc. for their children. I have an employee requesting to use this so she can visit prospective colleges with her daughter. Would the Minnesota Parenting Leave Policy apply to this or is it just for early childhood through secondary school activities? The daughter is still in high school and won't graduate for another year.

I would think that this could be scheduled outside work hours, most campus tours are led by students, so I would think that they could be done on weekends.
