Cost Cutting Measures

One of the ideas under discussion is requesting a voluntary reduction of hours. Does anyone have an agreement that ees sign? My concern is that by drawing up an agreement we would create a contract of sorts, especially as we expect this to be a temporary arrangement.

Any thoughts from organizations that have tried this method of reducing costs would be greatly appreciated. Particularly how it applies to exempt employees.
