Has anyone had to deal with employees travelling to regions in the world that the World Health Organization has advised against travelling to because of SARS, such as Toronto, Hong Kong, China? We have some staff who have are in some of these areas for their own pleasure and we want to require them to self-quarantine for 10 days when they return, i.e. they may not come to our facility until that time has passed and they are symptom free of any of the symptoms of the SARS virus. The 7-10 day period is what is recommended by the CDC to be sure you are not contagious.
Does anyone see any issues with this? Any suggestions for creating policy or guidelines to follow?
