Job descriptions

I am finding myself in the middle of a huge reorganization at our company. The owner wants to change job descriptions for some cadre employees. I need one for a CFO, and an Operations Officer for a manufacturing company. What would be my best resourse for this info since there is none in-house. Any help would be appreciated.

I've had pretty good luck with Descriptions Now software. It's not a cure-all by any means, but at least it gives you some good basics to work from. The descriptions do need quite a bit of tweaking.

Either one. Not sure of the link, but just do a search using the product name and I'm sure you'll get there. It's put out by KnowledgePoint software.

The Society for Human Resources Management has a good sample of job descriptions on their website [url]www.shrm.org[/url]. The cost is about $160.00 to become a member, but membership is very useful to HR professionals.
