Employee Handbook

Working on putting our Employee Handbook on the Intranet. Interested in finding out how others have obtained an employee's acknowledgement that they have read and/or received the handbook. Intranet will not have the capability of having employee signing off and returning an electronic acknowledgement to H.R. Does anyone have an acknowledgement that they can share with me?

We have them print out the acknowledgement page, sign it and return the hard copy to HR. We do have to keep up on our checklist to make sure everyone has returned it. How will you keep the electronic acknowlegement, provided you find a way to accomplish that?

The acknowledgement states: "I understand that my signature indicates that I will either reaqd the updated Employee Manual on XYZ's internal website, or see my supervisor to read a hard copy".

We gave employees who do not have computer access their own hard copy. Those with computers, can access via the intranet. Supervisors were also given a hard copy.

If you still need an Acknowledgement Form, I have one I'll email you. It also confirms at-will employment and denys any employment agreement that is not in writing signed by the CEO.
