Pre-employment Drug Screens and HIPAA

We are discussing the issue of pre-employment drug screening and how HIPAA may effect our current policy. Has anyone else addressed this issue. Will we need to send privacy notification to potential candidates and will those candidates need to sign off on confidentiality agreements in additions to our agreement to take the drug test in the first place. I have been to three HIPAA trainings and have read over 50 articles, none of which addressed this issue. Can anyone help?
