Exempt EE wants extra work

We have an exempt EE (supervisor) who wants to earn some extra money by doing some interior painting - evenings and/or weekends. Is this something that would be possible without interfering with her exempt status? If so, could she do it on a 'contract or flat-fee' basis? I also have a concern about workers comp.... We always try to help our EEs - but this one worries me. Sure would appreciate your input!!
