According to Utah law, when does one become considered a full time employee?

  • I doubt that Utah is any different than any other state in this regard. There is no legal definition of full time and part time. The only guidance might be how a benefit plan defines the term, such as 32 hours to qualify for health benefits. Other than this, a full time employee is someone who works the hours that the company defines as full time.
