State Leave Laws?

Does anyone know of a comprehensive document, manual or website that would reference each state's leave laws in one? I have been looking for something like this for months and have had no luck. We have offices throughout the US and a guide or manual like this would be very helpful to our organization.

You should probably designate someone in each of your locations to find out for you or you should try to find the information on government websites. I don't think that you will find a handy manual because state regulations change frequently and nothing could be published before some state changed their rules and the manual would then be out of date.

KP68: I for one hope you don't find anything. You and we only need one: THE FLSA. It is enough to establish LEAVE policy within the private sector. We are NOT currently required to provide leave; however, by doing so, we must live within the guidelines established by our corporate body! We can give it and we can take it away; that is the way it should be. We don't need government regulations to tell us how to be competitive.

Yes, I know we don't want that, but I know there are minimums regarding maternity, parental and even disability in some states. Take California for example...there are three different leave policies in that state alone that need to be studied.

If you need help with California, let me know in the private mail box. There are a lot more than three leave regulations in California.
