Florida is a two party consent for the purposes of taping conversations. Does the two part consent also apply to call monitoring? We provide an 800 number for customers to use, which contains the notice of "this call may be monitored......", however there are instances where the customer calls in on the direct dial number which bypasses the switchboard and does not contain the "this call may be monitored....." statement. All employee's have signed a form acknowledging conversations may be monitored for quality control.
