Pre-employment testing for eldercare workers

We are exploring the idea of adding some form of profile assessment to our pre-employment process for eldercare workers in assisted living and acute care centers. I would appreciate any feedback from members who have experience using or evaluating tools in this area. We have good profile analysis from existing hires, turnover, etc. My previous experience with various forms of personality, psychological...screening has been mixed at best. Any shared experience and insight out there?
