private cell phone use on work time

Does anyone have a policy restricting the use of private cell phones on work time? We are finding that this is becoming more and more of a problem with our employees who work out in the field.
Thanks!

  • We have a policy, stated in a posted memo, that forbids use of cell phones to all people on the manufacturing floor during working hours. Cell phones may be used during breaks only. We do not have anything that addresses salaried/ffice personnel. Let me know if you want a copy and I'll be glad to send it to you.
