Rehire vs New Hire Paperwork?

What is the time limit between an employee leaving employment and then being rehired that all new employment paperwork must be completed? Is this done each time an employee leaves and then comes back or is there a time frame in there somewhere that old original forms can be used? Thanks.

If it's a federal or state required form you're talking about, such as I-9 and tax forms, they have to be redone at rehire. Otherwise, whatever your policy states rules. We redo the entire forms process; application, insurance forms, certifications and acknowledgements, the whole nine-yards.
