Employee party invitation on company bulletin board

Is our company responsible for what happens at an employee's summer picnic held at their home if they post an invitation on the company bulletin board? Are we liable is for example we post coupons to Six Flaggs Amusement park for employee's use?

It is my opinion that unless the company is sponsoring the picnic/party they are not liable.
