Resume Retention

Am I correct that we are required to retain resumes received unsolicited for one year? If so does this include all resumes received in response to a recruitment or just the ones that were interviewed for the position?

The second part to my question is, are we obligated to call in those applicants if they seem qualified for other positions that open up down the road? I have an applicant who wants me to keep his resume as "ongoing". Must we do this?
