Employee responsibility for company car that has been leased

What is the scope of employee responsibility regarding parking tickets accrued during the commission of your job during any business day? Is it the employee's responsibility to pay parking tickets or is the employer responsible?

There is no legal requirement that the employer pay for parking tickets for a leased company car. In fact, most companies have provisions in their employee handbooks or in the agreement with the employee regarding the company car that say that the employee is responsible for the prompt payment of any and all traffic violations (to keep the car from being "booted" for non-payment.) The infraction belongs to the driver, not the vehicle. Hope that helps!
