Affirmative Action Records

The revised regulations attempt to address the controversy regarding the record-keeping concerns relating to the identification of employees and applicants. The new regulations reguire the employer to maintain records of gender, race, and ethnicity of each applicant. The OFCCP provides no practical and/or economical solution for complying with this obligation.
What are others employers doing to gather this race and gender information when a person sends or emails a resume? If someone has written procedures they are willing to share that would be great! Thanks in advance
