Automatic Increase In Pay for Higher Degree

I'd be very interested to know how many companies will automatically raise an employee's salary after they have completed a masters degree that is relevant to their position. If so, I'd be interested to know if it is a designated sum or a % of salary. I'm interested in also hearing from those who have thought about it but decided against this practice.

I know school districts have degrees in their teachers' pay matrix, but I haven't been involved with it at a "private" employer.
