LAST EDITED ON 11-26-01 AT 09:06PM (CST)[p]My organization decided to assist external candidates in preparing for the selection process. A preliminary overview was scheduled and postcards mailed to all qualified candidates. Out of (116) candidates (35) candidates attended the overview; (1) out of state candidate called requesting an informational packet verses trying to attend the overview; (1) in town candidate called and claimed that he found out about the overview from a friend and that he never received a postcard, and also stated that another friend received his card on the day of the overview.
Does my organization risk any exposure to a claim if info packets are not sent out to those candidates who were unable to attend?
Thank you in advance for your help!

Today the decision was made, after conferring with legal, to proceed and not do anything in addition to what has already been done. I will let you know how this turns out.
