Our contract was recently modified to give us the option to terminate the Site Safety and Health Manager if there are too many accidents at the site where he works. I am worried this is a bad move. Any advice?

    you are right to be worried...here's what may happen...the person wants to keep his job and therefore discourages employees from filing claims,or perhaps trys to get someone fired for having too many...you may end up with several suits for workers comp retaliation which,at least in texas ,is a very popular claim...there should be other metrics by which the manager is evaluated...regards from texas,mike maslanka,214-659-4668
