well it looks like waivers for injuries sustained by employees who work for those who do not belong to workers comp are a thing of the past...the hosue and senate passed bills outlawing them...the next question:when is it effective?because it passed by 2/3's it may be effective when signed as opposed to sept. 1,2001 when most laws become effective...regards from texas,mike maslanka
