  • That lady was also largely responsible for their very successful shopping spree in the town. That was the most important part of challenge, and the other tribe could only run around, out of control, and then too quickly leave for their island. M…
  • Liked the first one, but thought they dropped off after that and only sporadically watched. Last night I did catch it and enjoyed the opener. I agree that Rupert is a hoot. I was surprised at the vote, especially after the one guy was singled out…
  • Very nice. I posted it on our Wellness BB. Thanks for sharing.

  • Now I understand, it's all about the post counter! I heard of many kinds of envy, but post envy?
  • I heard the change was given in $11's and $3's
  • Good one.
  • Seems like a good way to build up his posts, but as long as you reply, you'll keep your lead (wink wink, nudge nudge).
  • I have in laws with the last name Beach. Named their kids Rocky and Sunny. OF course they live in Florida......on the beach.
  • Nevada welcomes all of you. No income tax, no inventory tax, low registration fees, wide open spaces, great recreation, low workman's comp, etc, etc. The more the merrier - it keeps driving the value of my house up.
  • Just parents are supposed to do that? My wife won't let me watch tv if I don't do my chores! I like a lot of the shows listed here, but the hardest I had laughed (at the time) was when I stayed up late one night when the folks were out somewhere a…
  • I don't think they had TV when I grew up. Oh yeah, that was the magic box wasn't it.
  • We eliminated petty cash from our organization. People either reach in their pocket and submit for reimbursement, or use one of our corporate credit cards, or get a check. You would be surprised how much headache is saved. The audits inevitabley …

  • You must comply with the subpoena. The EE in question can request the courts to limit the scope, but that is done with motions/hearings, etc and takes a judges signature agreeing to the limits.
  • To Toto (looks like the address line for a spam email): As to your question about employment related information - I would not want you to do that if my experience with the company was not up to par. In fact, I would do what the original applicant…
  • The thing of it is, it is not just you that would get sued. It is the company. The right thing to do comes in layers of perspective. From the standpoint of protecting the company, the right thing to do is to minimize exposure.
  • We only give dates, position and will confirm ending pay - and only then with a signed release from the EE.
  • Just google "Organizational Plan" and you will get lots of good info - I could summarize for you, but that would deprive you of the pleasure of a successful google search.
  • Just my opinion, but I think they should not be on any of your pay stubs, not just those that request it be taken off. In some cases, the address could stay on if you mail the check and the address shows up in the envelope window, but I would absol…

  • We are a human services agency - probably a similar client base. We contacted our county sheriffs department, who sent in a Captain to help us with our concerns. I don't recall all the detail, but some of it was not too practical - such as never s…
  • You should go through legal counsel for this. Lots of releases, permissions and the like to arrange - not even considering the quality of the production or the exposure you might be jumping into for portraying other companies, products and/or peopl…
  • We also have them just sign and date the JD. Also, if there are any amendments, they sign the revision.
  • Invite hourly personnel and let it be part of their 40 hour week, plus pay them a $100 per meeting bonus - no more than x meetings per year. Give a cash incentive for safety ideas that are adopted by the committee.
  • Do a search on this site. The topic has come up a couple of times, and if I recall, some sample policies were posted by forumites.
  • You've got mail!
  • I believe the laws in the state in which you are incorporated will tell you which officers you must have in place. Call the Secretary of States office in that state and let them direct you. Probably a web site that will tell you the right answers.
  • Well, maybe to get the payroll clerk out in time to get us all paid!x0:)
  • That is why I get to use my discretion. If it is a normal monthly living need - that is ordinarily handled in an ongoing budget - then something must have happened to throw that budget out of whack - like an unexpected car repair. I would listen…
  • Here is what I do: Employee Advance and Authorization to deduct from paycheck. I, (emmployee name), acknowledge receiving an advance of $xxx.00 from (the company). I hereby authorize (the company) to automatically deduct $XXX.00 per paycheck unti…
  • We did this several years ago and there are lots of steps and lots of assistance out there. The first thing we did was to decide if we were going to focus just on our company and it's needs or were we going to participate in the larger community as…
