Earlier this week a pipebomb went off in the NYC subway system. The police are now looking atthe former police officer (he was forced to retire for psychological reasons) who discovered the bomb and was slightly injured when it went off. He is "sus…

I agree. However, I also think Americans have to stop being hypocrites. i.e. venting against illegals, but then hiring them, at cheap rates, to their housework, gardening, child-care, home remodeling etc.

This is truly embarrassing x:-8 but non-citizens have been allowed to vote in school board elections in NYC for years. However, for obvious reasons, very few illegals have registered.

> She showed up for >work Tuesday - so she was fired again; and on >Wednesday too. On what grounds did they fire her on Tuesday and Wednesday? I would have used insubordination because she was not listening to her supervisor. Of co…

Did anybody notice that the French (who never had a reputation for graciousness towards others) tried to spit on Lance Armstrong? Can you imagine what would happen if an American spat on a great French athlete (is there such a thing as great French …

My mother (age 82)says the only way she can die happy is if I remarry (and I being the rotten, black sheep of the family have no intention of remarrying). If I thought the world was tuly ending, I'd tell the NY shop steward what a #$%^^$# he is. Th…

Do you remember an episode on the Twilight Zone called "To serve mankind?"

You left out Arnold Schwartzenegger talking about how not to be politically correct when it comes to women.

Does this mean we can't make fun of Canadians?

You did mention the bear was grizzly..which clearly is identifying him by race. Fortunately, you didn't mention if the bear growled with an accent. x;-)

Don-I agree with you. The problem is that you are complaining about something that the Republicans believe in--business over the individual. Bottom line over everything.

My point of view was expressed by Doris Day in The Man who knew too much..."Que Sera Sera, whatever will be, will be, the future's not ours to see, Que Sera, Sera."{

Maybe the world has ended and we just don't know it yet. If that statement is true, are we in heaven or hell?

I got my daughter to move out. She's gone but her crap isn't (with the exception of the guitar and stereo). She has stuff all over both her room and her sister's (Her sister lives in Vermont). I'm now threatening to throw all the stuff out so I c…

Did you actually read the decision (and notice who was in the majority) or is this based on headlines? The actual decision takes into account real life on the internet.

First of all, my kids will be paying for this tax deduction and the increased debt. My federal taxes may have gone down, but since the federal govt is sending less money to the city(and the cost of protection from terrorism is continually rising),…

The airplanes that went into the World Trade Center were not WMD. In those instances where chemical weapons were used (like Japan), Iraq was not involved. Terrorism is now world wide and our entry into Iraq seems to have increased the incidences wo…

I live in NYC. I saw the Towers go down. I know people who died on that day. My parents live (and lived) in Battery Park City with a view of ground zero. Everyday on the way to work I use the mass transit system which is now protected by extra po…

Don, I agree there should be an apostrophe. The question is should it be before the s or after. Or, to put it politically, should it be to the left or the right of the s. Obviously, I believe it should be to the left. x;-)

No my comments were not directed at you as far as religion goes. However, about your politics... Oh heck, I'll leave that for another day.
