I'm not sure what kind of complaints you're talking about (i.e. unfair treatment from a supervisor or no toilet paper on the roll). Are you looking for complaints of a serious nature or little annoyances? We do not use a complaint form but we do h…

Our acknowledgment form reads: I have read and I understand its contents. I acknowledge that it is my responsibility to ask questions about anything I do not understand. and so on.... If you would like a copy of it, just let me know.

We just re-printed our handbooks and we did have each employee sign a new acknowledgment form. If you would like a copy of the form just let me know.

Popeye I'm not talking about "micro managing". I am not the type of manager who breathes down someone's neck or does not allow anyone else to make decisions. It's not about it being "my way or the highway". It's about employees that consistently …

I have to agree with Lorrie. We also find sometimes menial jobs (counting paperclips) for our employees on light duty. We are a construction company and I can tell you our employees do NOT like being inside filing, stapling, copying, etc... It is…

Great ideas everyone! Thanks for your help! Ruby

good point - thanks!

I like your analogy of "piglets" but we're a road construction company and we really don't have "piglets", "widgets" or any other "ets" and our crews are located throughout the state so our President does not get the opportunity to see the employees…

Thanks for the suggested reading - I'll look into it.
