Is that what passes as a joke in your parts or has the heat done got to you?
-
I ran into friends from Portland at the beach last night. They drove out here just to take the kids to the beach for the evening. They said the 90 minute drive was better than sitting around in misery all evening. I can only imagine that the hea…

The grey is clearing up and the sun is out. Its still cool and comfortable. I have no doubt that everyone in Portland and Vancouver is here. Its much faster to walk through Cannon Beach today than drive.
-
Cool and misty on the coast here. It was sunny here up until yesterday. Right now its 61 degrees.

Another example of the value of good documentation!

I wonder if I can get "Lord of the Dark Arts" added to my job title.
-
HR in AL, how was this resolved?
-
Ritaanz, the first video was boring but I liked the reference to HR as a "comfortable office job" with regular hours.
-
Yeah, not very positive. I have had several people tell me they "hated HR people" until they came here. Not that no one hates me here, I am sure there are several. Its true that HR is management but we walk the line between employees and supervi…

Here's a former HR manager who claims he practiced the "dark arts of HR management".

Yeah, and guess whose six year old daughter has, like, started doing that... Ergh.

When I hear someone use the "f word" two or three times in a sentence, I definitely think it makes them look unintelligent. But I also think that when someone says "like" more than, like, you know, two or three times in one, like, sentence.
-
Don't think of it as "killing the thread". Think of it as "having the last word".
-
No one has responded, Sonny. What were you asking about?
-
Is Tennesse the "bible belt"? Do you think that has anything to do with it?
-
"Lake Lure" sounds like something out of a horror flick where a bunch of teens rent a summer cabin...

Do you see how allowing swearing has led to other undesirable and innappropriate comments?

Ok, that was pretty funny. I forgive Frank for everything else he has said.

Whoa... I just chose to "enhance" my "interface".

plynnl, what happens when you click the "GO ADVANCED" button?

Wasn't it VP Cheney who got in some hot water when he dropped the F bomb in Congress. Ok, this post is a set up for ACU Frank to say we'd all be better off if Cheney was allowed to drop F bombs instead of real bombs. I've been on this @#$@$ foru…

First place is a 20 minute ride on Joannie's trike with her husband. Second place is a 40 minute ride.
-
I agree with Frank. In my opinion its the same as announcing "I have no clue about people and the diversity of my audience so I am just going to be my idiot self and pretend its endearing."
-
Its not a problem here but it would be "out of place" in our culture. I can envision some cultures where cussing is part of the camraderie. However, like jokes or teasing, I think the potential is always there for people to be offended. Some word…

It is interesting to read how many of you take vacations that have a greater purpose than just relaxing by a pool. Ex. mission trips, visiting or helping family, time with grandkids, building carports etc. I think everybody is a winner!
-
I cant believe you posted that Joannie. I dont even understand it.
-
I'm still waiting for someone to describe a vacation that blows me away. I am the Simon Cowell of Vacation contest judges. I love all of you dearly but watching husbands fish, visiting Frank, and riding a tricycle aimlessly don't excite me.
