Yeah, I have a question, Ray... Where do you find this stuff and don't you have work to do? x;-)

>This coninues for 3-4 exchanges until the light >goes on and the ee understands. Am I losing my >ability to orally communicate or is the ee slow >to catch on. Happens on several occasions. At least with your employees, the light ev…

I don't think Cinderella's ready for bifocals - I get the impression she's probably younger than many of us - or at least me and I just started wearing bifocals. x;-)
-
Sounds exciting. Think I'll go watch paint dry, now.xI-)
-
My mom used to do that to us when we were kids and did something stupid! Man, that could hurt!
-
Trust me, Don. He did not get off scott-free. He was sent home (no pay) after I talked to his supervisor and I personally wrote a memo to his supervisor's boss (my coworker) recommending that his anticipated annual increase (which he was to have r…

Why, thank you, Raymond. x}> Many of those I didn't know. For years, though, I have put a sheet of bounce in my suitcase when I travel, or in my sock drawer at home. And Cinderella's comments to the contrary, I've noticed that Oregonians tend…

Linda, I didn't know you had met our Dir. Ops. x;-)
-
They have a standing daily lunch reservation at "Hooters."
-
Hey! I think I resent that comment! Nice ones, Paul. As usual, Oregonians tend to be wittier than most... x;-) Truly worthy of Letterman.

Maybe the next trend will be outsourcing surgery... a doctor from the Close Cover Before Striking School of Medicine in Banglafardeshnylvaniavokia will just phone in the procedure while a nurse does the actual cutting. Now THAT would save on the …

This is really funny. Thanks for the chuckle this afternoon. Maybe not too far from the truth, though. Just read an article in ABA Journal that some law firms are starting to outsource paralegal work to overseas firms... scary!

As the proud owner of a 1999 NCAA Championship UConn t-shirt (courtesy of a friend from CT), I was very pleased to see UConn win. x:-)

Just about anyone will tell you, HRinNH- no encouragement necessary - buwahahahAHAHAHAHAHA!! x;-)

>OK ladies, tell me one thing Beagle has done to >return this thread to the original topic? You >can't because he won't. HA! Check out post #26, Ray, my man! I made a valiant attempt to steer the thread back on course and the helm d…

No, but I wish I had - it sounds very scholarly. I think it may have been Paul, or that trombone-chomping Ray. Not sure if I want the title back. Nice not to have the pressure for a change. It takes money and writers to be witty all the time. x;…

I find it very humorous that Don and Ray have both at different times accused me of being an agitator and pot-stirrer, yet between the two of them they managed to single-handedly hijack this thread and turn it into something that bears no resemblanc…

Don is an expert at hijacking threads, Leslie. You should know that. x;-) Back to Cin, though... she makes a good point about pulling a Peter Finch once in awhile, probably better than letting the pressure and tension build up until you explode, …

So, after a nice relaxing weekend I come in and see that Don has thrown down the gauntlet at the ladies. Now it will just be fun to watch them pick it up and beat the snot out of him with it. x;-)
-
Cin, you're an Oregonian (well, sort of). Oregonians are supposed to be laid back, reserved and duck-like, not b**tchy! Me, I've spent most of the afternoon with my feet up on my desk because my inbox is empty and I've solved all the petty little …

That was a really great site, Mel. Thanks for sharing it. Could have used more airplanes and cruise missiles, but... what're you gonna do, huh? x;-) NOTE TO ALL GROUND FORCE TYPES AND GROUND FORCE ADMIRERS: I WAS JUST KIDDING!
-
Great, Leslie - thanks for the chuckle. Or, as William Shakespeare said, "The first thing we do, let's kill all the lawyers." (Henry VI, Part 2, Act IV Scene ii)

That's one thing I like about my electronic gadgets (VCR, TV, DVD, etc.). They're all self-correcting and will adjust the time automatically. I only have to worry about my watch and microwave. x:-)
-
Nope. No sarcasm. Just always preferred the night. (is there a vampire icon on this thing?) Think I must have wandered around foggy, dark London streets in a previous life or something. x;-)
-
I, for one, detest daylight savings time and wish it would go away. I LIKE going to work in the dark. I LIKE coming home in the dark. I also like damp, foggy nights. All this extra daylight depresses me!
-
I scare YOU? I reread my post and the part that was really scary was that I understood it! 8-} And as far as Ray's comment about hijacking his thread, I submit that, by definition, a thread about nothing is incapable of being hijacked because not…

In our little corner of the universe, what is all around us. Everything is what and what is everything. That which is not what, but is rather that, is still what and there is no separating the two in this dimension of existence we refer to as the …

Are you complaining, Mustang Sally? Come to Oregon where it's 53 and raining with a wind chill of 49 outside.

Well! I guess I know where I stand in the pecking order! /:) I DEMAND EQUAL TREATMENT! x;-)

Yeah! We don't even get cut-rate subscription rates for displaying our talents for all MLSP's customers to see! x;-)
