HRsage you are absolutely right! It must be a requirement the everyone sound like Kerri Strug from the '96 Olympics. Her voice was so high pitched she squeaked!

Beard?
-
Welcome back. Don, at least four - a sane voice is always needed!

It is stupid...Phelps has, what, like five medals now and just because they're not all gold it's like he failed at something.
-
Snottsdale? Oops, prejudice showing. If you don't have time for the trip to Sedona or the Canyon, just head a little north to the Carefree area. A LITTLE cooler, and some pretty stuff.

LAST EDITED ON 08-18-04 AT 12:38PM (CST)[br][br] Is that why on a recent vacation my SO and I were heading to a city 30 miles west and ended up in one 60 miles east? 8-| So you can get frustrated (i.e., pi**e…

You have got to be kidding me! That's quite the set up!

I did. My SO owns an HD Ultra Classic. It's like riding on a couch. A 22-year-old in our group rode a rigid - no shocks - all the way in from New Mexico. He trailered it a lot of the way back.

Didn't see any of those guys, but last Wednesday we were having lunch in a place in Deadwood. A lot of the places are open air, so you're eating your burger right next to a group of bikes. These ones happened to belong to Peter Fonda, Jason Priest…

Good to hear from you...thought you'd abandoned us without so much as a good bye. Don't they have one of those mechanical potato peelers? If not I think I'd create a peel on potato salad!
-
It doesn't, at least not for me.
-
Huh? Okay Sam, can you put that in layman's terms?
-
I don't know - kind of enjoyed watching him get going, get more natural. He was pretty wind-up doll to begin with, but I thought he settled in nicely. Thought the first two lines would have made a great closing. Maybe they thought it sounded too …

HRQ, tacos, enchiladas, tamales, beans, rice, lots of cheese and cerveza. Trust me it works...I know.

This stuff amazes me. Teresa Heinz Kerry is widowed when her husband dies in a plane crash, inherits the "business" as most wives do when their husbands pass, falls in love, remarries - and this makes John Kerry a gigolo? The man was 23 when he we…

The dreaded sugar pinch?

By being better than everyone else. Seriously, he was 9 minutes and some odd seconds down a week ago. The mountain climbs are his specialty, and that's what they've been doing the last four or so days. He did well in the first couple, won yesterda…

So Don, if you've already been abducted to another planet, is it a cyborg Don D that's been entertaining and educating us oh these many posts?

Geesh HRQ, you got me on this one as I was the one who used ALL THREE! x:o

Heart...HEART!

Ah, people of my own ilk...lushes all. It warms the cockles of my heart! x:-)

Neither. Personally I think they should move the Olympics up a couple weeks.

There's 12 of us going, and I am, alas, the only one flying. I'm sure I'll get my miles in once there. They all leave the 5th, get there the 8th and leave the 12th to head home. I'm flying the 8th and the 12th. My plane home from Rapid City SD t…

Ritaanz, I'm in Sturgis, SD, for the Harley rally Aug 8-12...you want a patch for the other side? For you all having trouble loading the cartoon, the two brothers who created it were on the Today show yesterday morning. I imaginge their servers ar…

I was mixing my threads again... Ritaanz, say it ain't so. You don't have an autographed picture of Charlton Heston hanging in your office like my SO does?

His chest may be free, but the rest of him needs to be with me for his father's 80th birthday! Gotta tell ya Whirlwind, I think the jewelry story down the street with the QUICK gun is the better deal.

Actually you can't see too much - it's toward the tip and looks more like a pimple...isn't that a lovely picture? Now last night I could have used a sponge Bob bandaid...and a hydrocodone!

Ah, the list was just for those who don't have a membership and won't be on the forum next week - my little farewell story if you will. Of course, everyone is welcome to read and respond to my tale of woe. And Sonny, I know it's funny - my nose …
