It can be alot of fun - connecting with people you haven't seen in years. It can also be quite distracting. I have friends who are on there all the time... I like Frank's profile picture, very unposed, and Q is a pretty lady. th-up

That was just Module One... there are six total. Shall we ruin the rest as well?? The protagonist (an HR Officer at a community bank) is a wonderful sleuth though; great at solving those pesky HR problems. Like...

Thank you Nae Nae! Sounds like I made a wise choice. The conference here is put on by our local SHRM chapter. I have a friend from high school who recently became a 'fan' of the FB page for HR Hero. She is in Emporia, Kansas but has let her SHRM m…

The ending to 'It' was a real disappointment for me; after all the time invested in reading the book to have it turn out to be.... 'Pet Semetary', 'Cujo', 'Christine' - all are much better books than movies. King has a way of telling the story fro…

I love Shirley Jackson - ever since we read The Lottery in middle school... I am also reading The Nine, about the Supreme Court Justices.

1776 - a historical look at the Revolutionary War. In depth looks at the men and the battles. Very interesting read for plane trips. I believe Ray recently read the book as well. Or can he just remember 1776? :-S

Thanks Nae Nae for the recommendation on Margaret Morford. She was an excellent speaker! She engages the audience and has a wealth of knowledge to provide. On a more serious note - will someone provide me with the name of a good CD to listen to in…

I heard from a friend who is in contact with Larry and "he is alive and doing well and has a new job". x:-)

You remembered correctly - surprisingly, since you must have been a wee thing at the time of your visits x:-) There are several large parks here. The one I frequent is out East, called Shelby Farms, there are herds of bison as well as many bike an…

It has been beautiful here (Memphis) this week - highs in the low 70's and sunny. I sincerely hope the cold you are dealing with stays to the North! Last weekend we went walking and had a picnic at a large park here and I am hoping the weather will …

Gosh NaeNae, I have 'nothing' to say - which is very rare for me! But I'll post anyway, why should I change now?. ;;) How are your grandbabies? Twins are so much fun! Just wait until they are both driving...
