I would closely monitor my vital signs for a while if I were you!

It's tough to assign a gender preference to a vehicle. I see guys driving Beetles all the time, (with dashboard flowers included), I personally have never seen a Miata on the road being driven by a woman, and PT Cruisers go both ways. My husband a…

I did pretty well, I must be more observant than I thought. I got 23 0f 29, and I did get 4 of the six Campbell's soup can colors (Blue and Yellow? Who knew?) I will admit that I had to guess on few, so the ones I got right were by chance and not …

I'm a 32 as well - Hey my score matches my ages (for a few more months anyway!) I hope I don't wind up as a lame cartoon.

I'm also from Minnesota and grew up calling it pop. However, for some unknown reason, a couple of years ago I just switched to calling it soda, and now it feels weird to say pop. I have no explanation. I drink 100% fully loaded Coke, all the way, …

My husband also works a hot job, installing granite, but I have the opposite problem. Because he doesn't work in air conditioning, he doesn't want it on in the house either. So I go from frigid, meat-locker like office to steamy, sweltering house.…

I am also a libra (the only inanimate zodiac sign, not sure what that means) and I think that I fit the description pretty well. Famous people with my 10/3 birthdate are: James Herriot, Gore Vidal, Lindsey Buckingham, Gwen Stefani, and Neve Campbe…

Mazel Tov! I'd get used to not sleeping, it will always be something, cold, flu, first date...

I was looking at our wedding photos recently, and was surprised how thin we both looked. Though my husband has gained weight over the last seven years, I don't really see it. I guess love really is blind!

Wow, I wish I was getting 10 whole dollars, I think I'm getting about 4. But hey, with that extra $200 bucks a year, I'm sure that I can stimulate some job growth!

When you tune to the local "Top 40" station and find yourself saying, "This isn't music, this is terrible! Now, what I listen to, that's music." I find myself doing this now and I'm only 32.x:'(

No, the crust goes right on the grill. You grill one side for a few minutes, flip it, add your toppings and grill for another 5 minutes or so until everything looks done, and voila, pizza!

LAST EDITED ON 05-20-03 AT 08:46AM (CST)[p]Favorite food? It's tough to say, I love to cook and can really do several things well. I'd have to say my current favorite is Pizza Margarhita. My life has changed …

1. Name the Beatles. John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ring Starr 2. Finish the line: "Lions and Tigers and Bears, Oh My!" 3. "Hey kids, what time is it?" It's Howdy Doody Time. 4. What do M&M's do? Melt in your mouth, not in your …

Of course, I also changed my LAST name. I wanted to take my husband's last to unify us as a family and to be less confusing for any future kiddies. I was also reluctant to jettison the name that came from my family, and had been part of my identit…

If I use my middle name from before I was married, my soap opera name would be "Lynne Halifax", if I use my middle name now it would be "Ebert Halifax" which doesn't have quite the same ring to it. Using a childhood dog, my "exotic" film name wou…

It is a sad commentary on the state of our society when a person with the courage to stand up against "the powers that be" is treated in such a deplorable manner. I commend you for actions, and I hope that this can resolved quickly, and as painless…

I hate how our local "warehouse" grocery chain has to rearange the entire contents of the store on a regular basis so that you can't just go straight to what you want, but have to walk past all of their "specials" just so you can find where they hid…

And my parents always told that an english degree wouldn't get you anywhere!

Thank you everyone. I really did want to include it on my resume since I worked really hard to acheive it, but I wouldn't have if you all considered it inappropriate. I appreciate your advice, and your congratulations. Thanks, makes me feel great…

I once worked in position where I was overworked and underappreciated (not to mention undercompensated!) For example(one of many), at my boss' request, I spent a great deal of time and energy researching and then writing a suspicion based drug te…

I actually inherited it from my predecessor. When I started here, the IT person set it up so that all of the previous HR person's e-mails were forwarded to me, and an automatic e-mail went out to the sender informing them of a new contact. Shortly t…

Right now I am commuting about 12 miles one-way and except for the nine traffic lights between my house and the freeway, the drive isn't too bad. I used to commute about 65-70 miles one way when I lived in central MN and worked in the SW Twin Citie…

In Minnesota regular unleaded was about $1.55 a gallon Tuesday Morning, when I went to lunch on Tuesday afternoon, it was $1.75. They say it could be over $2.00 in the next month or so. The three reasons they give on the local news are: 1). Cold we…

On an only slightly related note, I just an article on how PETA is suing the CA Cheese Board (or dairy council, or whomever is responsible for the "Happy Cow" ads for false advertising and unfair business practices because the ad "improperly portray…

I, too, dragged my carcass out of bed at 4 something AM only to find a combination of clouds and bright light (provided by the full moon, and the large street light directly in front of my house) made it all but impossible to see the show. I went b…
