Lenetta, don't stop at 500! Keep in the game until the last whistle...and please be sure you will be missed. Cheryl C.

lol...had I known that James would get this excited over it, I would've held the note much longer xB-)
-
I think being an avid fan would depend on whether or not you can stay sitting quietly on the sofa throughout the entire game or if you have to be physically restrained by your SO when there's a goal. x:D

xclap xclap Muy Bien, James. I actually watched part of the Portugal vs Holland (I think) and it was exciting at the end. Portugal plays very dirty though. They go up against England next.
-
Muy bueno, James. Eso es lo que dicen en cada juego. ;;)

The World Cup games come into our home via satelite every evening. My husband is glued to the t.v. hour after hour until I make him shut it off so I can get to sleep. Go USA!!!
-
Lenetta, I know what you mean. If I had $10 for every time my husband threatened to leave because of my cat or my daughter's dog, I could afford to take a long, luxury vacation.
-
>Maybe I need to reconsider that, but I hate the expectation of promotion opportunities before "doing the time". EXACTLY!!

We lived in a rented apartment until our oldest daughter was in high school. I remind my husband about this every time we pay property taxes now. It doesn't do much for him but it makes me feel better x;-)

I was just speaking with a co-worker about this very thing. The story Paul posted got the conversation started. We've raised a generation that knows little or nothing about the satisfaction of "earning" a living. Many young people coming from h…

Yes, I agree and we can see it in all walks of life. Those who want something bad enough will sacrifice anything to get it...that includes health, happiness or comfort.

Other than Mt. Washington being the highest peak east of the Mississippi River, the only big thing we're known for here in central NH takes place about 10 miles from my house. It's the big Laconia Bike Week in Weirs Beach. Hundreds of thousands of …

That's neat. Even beat out many of the Hawaiian beaches...I'm impressed. I was surprised that Provincetown made it in list and Hampton Beach didn't. Hmmmm.

Other than a c-section scar, I have 6 little (< 1/2") scars that all could be covered by a bikini but one.
-
Paul, you only have 268 more posts to beat the record. Cheryl C.

Sorry, Larry, I also envisioned the 60's mod-squad outfit on you complete with huge afro, long sideburns and long strands of beads with a peace sign emblem.

I thought he had the surgery to get off pain meds.
-
He must have pulled the duck tape off.
-
Serious minded? Is that allowed on this forum? x:P
-
Pssshhh, you got that right! Well, everyone could send a buck to me and I'll hold it as a grand prize for the winner. Then I'll send the total to the winner (minus my holding fee of course) x:D

Maybe we should have a forum h'ween costume contest...send photos to Christie or James then we send in our votes.

Wildsporty, Grease is one of my favorite musicals...but what's a Catbert suit? Cheryl

Welcome to the Forum, RickAL. Please help out the "thread that will never die". Paul keeps changing themes and now it's gasping for air. Anyway...is there more to the AI search? I thought Tayler won it and that's it for this season. I'm so conf…

That's good news! Thanks for updating us.

So has anyone heard from Larry? Hope all went well with his surgery!

Larry, don't take on any strenuous activity too soon afterwards. That includes laughing at the antics of certain Forumites. xpray Praying for you, Cheryl
