Buying lemons? I guess that's what happens some places. I have a whole tree full, but in the interest of landscaping it will soon be shredded, spindled and mutilated. We're keeping the lime tree though.

We don't know. The later of Oct/Nov this year or the passing of my mother. We have been her caregivers for a number of years. She will be 100 in July. She is very frail but her heart keeps on going.

Here you go - to give you something to do. I hope Hillary runs, and wins. Ha ha

Who pays utility bills directly. Pretty soon me, that's the way it is still done in Mexico, at least in Guanajuato. Phone, too.

My name is #5,386th in usage, much higher in popularity of course, particularly in the south-east where the welcome mat is always out. Gillian became popular in the 70's and has been going up ever since. She was born in 1982 so we were on the front…

No, we already have some in the kitchen.

We're not going for the donkey or the tequila, but talavera tile. We are remodeling and the bathroom sinks and counter will be Mexican. If you want to see what talavera looks like, go to www.lomelitile.com, click on talavera and sinks.

We're going south of the border on Friday. I don't remember any grass huts around Tijuana but I'll let you know if there are any.

The real Gillian wouldn't think so. I don't mind.

Gee Whillikers, that's another way of saying PPPUUUUULLLLLEEEEEEEEEEEEEZE, I hope that not too many of the 100 or more viewers actually think that there is an Optional Pass Through Disbursement Program. That was just a product of my imagination.

Yes, yes and yes and for years to come.

Just what we need - more milk and cheese from cows in blizzards.

As noted on another thread, White Mountain is really a hill.

In Old Town, go the Old Mexican Cafe for their carnitas. It's just outside of the park. And you may not see real mountains between San Diego and San Francisco. There are a few little ones north of LA, but the real Ca. mountains are in the Sierra'…

I'm in north San Diego county, about 45 miles north of the city. Take two days to drive to San Francisco - straight through is for the young (not that you aren't)or those who want to take risks.

You are in the afternoon somewhere? It's morning here.
-
NH is what? and you get a quarter? what for? and what stone faced profile? I do remember reading somewhere where a hill with some rocks on it fell down and people were upset about losing heritage, but what heritage? Help!

No, you don't read correctly.

I could probably beat the low pay derby but I don't remember what my pay was in my first HR job. I do remember working my way through college at .85 an hour though, and I got more than the rest because I was a supervisor in the dish room. I actuall…

38 years ago I had a premonition that sometime in the 2003-05 time frame there would be a need on something called a computer forum for someone to be a counterweight to the thoroughly illogical comments of someone in Mississippi. I started in HR at…

Tried the bed pan yet? What did your wife say when you asked her to empty it?
-
The "precriptions" you don't take could be the problem. How about a bed-pan, those used to work in the old days, then, since in another thread you were brash enough to suggest what women should do, ask your wife to empty it each morning.

Are you "whining"? Sleep getting interrupted a bit too much?

My soon to be (in the next few months) part time home - Guanajuato, Mexico. It is an old colonial city in central Mexico that has United Nations Heritage status and where Mexican's go to vacation. The Cervantes festival takes place in that time pe…

The best thing to do with those peppers is to take a big spoon, a big bite, adobo and all. They are great!!

Nah, this collective "we're the man" approach by republicans will get old before four years go by, and the pendulum will swing back as those that think a bit, fortunately most, say to themselves "what have we accomplished, this isn't what I wanted".…

Sorry, Parabeagle. I was out yesterday. Fortunately, the Spongebob people will make such a mess of things this next four years that they will be out on their rear ends next time around. Jeez, trillions in budget deficits sponsored by republicans …

What are the three languages? Spanish, English and ? My California kids were in classes where 15 or more languages were spoken at home.

Staffing shouldn't be a problem. Everyone will be there, I expect.

I don't give it a thought, except for the one to respond to your post.
