You should get her signed up with a girl's softball program. I don't know if they have those up north; but, down here, girl's programs are just as popular as boys and every town, big or small, has tons of soccer, football, softball programs going ye…

Just be glad 'red carding' is not a part of the game. I have a feeling you'd get tossed sometime during the season.

Seems to me that some people on the Forum can't tolerate an alternate proposition. All I did was suggest that maybe it wasn't what it was cracked up to be. I thought we were all about expressing of alternate ways of doing and seeing things. This sam…

Infant abandonment is a problem EVERYwhere. That doesn't explain how the dog told them she found the bag through the wire, across the road and in a field. I'm working on another story..."Man saws off own head with rented Stihl chainsaw; returns to…

Makes a nice warm and fuzzy bedtime story for children, but let's get real and consider the possibilities. Dogs who have litters of pups in the woods have two strong urges. One is to protect the puppies and the other is to feed herself and the puppi…

I saw that too. But, I missed the part where the dog communicated where she had found the bag and the fact that she had crossed a street and barbed wire fence. Most if not all animals bring food back to the nest for their young. Who is to say this w…

When I turn 55 I don't plan to suffer from Hunter's brand of libido. So, I guess one could say his uncle was 'just nuts'.

Be prepared to spend at least that much each semester for books. Student loan programs don't include books.

It's too late to tell you to 'save'. I'll pay for the rest of my life. But, that's what parents are for, after all.

It'll always be 'A&M' to the diehards, although it changed years back to Mississippi State University. I think we also 'share' Jackie Sherill in common.

Right now the puppy's great-grandmother (my mother) is keeping the puppy. But soon I think the daughter will take her. Memphis is about 150 miles north.

Any Dragoon worth his salt was mounted (as in riding a horse TN HR) and would not have been running. However, if they were brightly dressed frenchmen, they might like the idea of no pants day.

Does multiplying "No" make the statement more powerful? Only on a date.

"Generally not too many things upset me including poor usage of English grammar even though I am an English Literature graduate." Hmmm. Should that sentence not have at least one comma in it somewhere? x:-)
-
No, integration is simply being placed among or into the relevant pool. Assimilating is a response to that. Sort of like integrating a Jersey Yankee into the population of Arizona, knowing she will not properly assimilate.
-
I'm still trying to decide if I was properly onboarded when assimilated.

I cain't figure what 'borrow you some' means. So I guest I'm axing. Why hasn't nobody said 'youse guys'? Maybe it's sacred, like a cow.

Taking a separate path, what's your favorite word of all words, one you stumbled upon that you've used to confuse others over and over? Mine is steatopygia. I stumbled across it at least 30 years ago. Then I lost it. I got so agitated at its loss I…

Well, not every store stocks lemon-Maalox. There's not that much call for it.

What type-o? And isn't it typo? Type-o relates more to blood than to words, I think. I know I left out 'a' at the start of the second line, but that's an omission, not a typo. And where's your comma after plus? Another of my pet peeves is/are nitpic…

I'm wondering about people who will be sure to get there early for the popcorn ads.

I pay attention to them for a moment but do not crouch under my desk. It's too hard to get back up.

Now that's a Drink! The idea with the Alka Seltzer is to drink two right before you tumble across the bed. Put them in warm water, not cold. It's miraculous.
-
OK. Let's review. How many of you celebrants actually remembered to take two Alka Seltzers before retiring this morning? (That will usually diminish the effects). You're probably all still sleeping in.
-
I've never known a 'FRIEND OF BILLS' to actually give out drinking lessons. Isn't the 9th step a responsibility to reform the masses, pray their souls out of hell and lift them out of their squalor? x:-)

Actually New Hampsters and Vermonters are real close politically, philosophically and morally to San Franciscans, San Diegans and Mexifornians in general. This will be a real fuzzy gathering. Maybe G can get you into the mayor's office for a group s…

I notice neither of you mentioned condoms. Are they available by the truckload?
