Oh man! Do I Feel It!!!!!!!!!!!!11

This sounds pretty interesting. But I always seem to screw up when I'm making gravy. Is this like making gravy and is it foolproof?
-
Oh, I was afraid you had left out Mississippi and New York.
-
Sounds great, but Atkins will roll over! ........But next year let's update the recipe to include 50 states.
-
Yes, absolutely. It is required that you remove the green flies and gravel from road-kill though. (Optional in Arkansas).
-
Actually it's quite acceptable to shovel him directly onto the pre-heated grill. That way you save the hefty bag and the next morning, the smell of breakfast wafting through the neighborhood from your grill will bring you more friends than you ever …

You may be right. There are roughly ten billion of them, about whom it can be said, they were not afraid of a moving vehicle. The actual shelf life of road kill possum is somewhere between 5 and 9 days depending on ambient temperature, or so I've he…

In a crunch, don't overlook the fact that you can crank open a can of biscuits and pinch them into four pieces, dropping them into the hot broth for 'passable' dumplins'. I'm comin' to Leslie's momma's place.
-
Well, we do chicken 'n' dumplins way down here in the South. But I suppose most anything will taste good with pork chops done right, as long as they aren't cooked dry. I prefer fried pork chops, purple hulled peas, fried okra, mexican cornbread, egg…

Sauerkraut 'n' Dumplins? Now there's a meal fit for a Doberman.
-
Leslie, you got a deal! Do we inject with JDaniels? I'm up for it if you are.
-
Wait Mel, your recipe indicates you eat them cold on hard bread. Yikes! What punishment. And what's that twang in brats that I'm trying to get used to?
-
Another new high for me. I cooked 6 brats on the grill tonite prior to doing the T-bones. I put them in a shallow dish of beer to soak for an hour. Laid them on the upper deck of the grill for 30 minutes and drizzled a little beer and Italian over t…

Well, a TV commercial running now says it's a crime to poke a fork in a brat while cooking it. So how would soaking it do anything if the beer couldn't penetrate the skin? I hate to be technical but I do want to be correct in my procedure next time.…

I'm sure you know his dad died earlier this year. He was his high school coach too. Brett's two daughters live with his wife's sister in Hattiesburg, between Jackson and Kiln and go to school there. Brett said in a recent article that they wanted th…

I love it! I really would love to experience this ice fishing stuff. Today I bought some brats and don't know if I did them justice tonite. I put two in a cast iron skilet. Poured half a can of beer in. Shaved off some onions into the beer. sprinkle…

LAST EDITED ON 06-24-04 AT 07:47AM (CST)[br][br]I like KIWI'S post best of all. I've never been ice fishing. Yes, McMel, get out a skillet, spray some PAM on it and bring it to medium and drop in two quarter inc…

Ain't nothin' like a piece of fried Spam about twice a year with thousand island drizzled over it! (hot dog people reject only toenails and lips)
-
The irony continues. I know a dog named Austin whose favorite is spam. On his birthday he gets bacon. His owner's name is Larry (Griffin).
-
Please, bacon and eggs, and GRITS! x:-)
-
Sounds great but..........180 carbs per slice.
-
My cholesterol dropped 30pts the last time I did Atkins.
-
reducing carb intake lessens the >amount of fat you have to burn - I hate diets. Actually reducing carb intake reduces carbs (duh). Your body processes (burns) carbohydrates prior to burning fat. Therefore if you stay loaded up on carbs, yo…

My wife poured out both sugar cannisters and replaced it all with Splenda. I don't know the cost but, to me, it tastes the same, at least in 49 of the states.

There are no 'other programs of this (carb) nature'. Over time, the results are whatever you make them. To yo-yo or not to yo-yo, that is the question.
-
Had one of these leftover burgers at noon. You know how dry leftover, nuked burgers can be? Because of the ingredients, this one microwaved for 40 seconds was just as good and moist as they were last nite. Best leftover burger I ever had.

What's ESOP?
