Finally, I've found Dry Spells!

Is the food service company in house or an external agency? If it's external, I'd make the call to your service manager and have the person removed.........YUCK! If it's internal, for the sake of everyone who's buying lunch, have a heart to heart w…

Our policy also forbids a branch "Kitty" for just that reason. Our processing system is so sophisticated today that we can practically (but not prove) who the customer was that received the "EXTRA" $100.00.

Of course the policy is shared with the teller............. a part of the appraisal process addresses teller accuracy and balancing.
-
Just send me your email and I'll be happy to share our policy with you.

I've had to deal with this issue on two separate occasions. One employee had beautiful, expensive sweaters, but didn't wash them often enough. I was present with her manager when she was told. We suggested that she send them to the cleaners more o…

Advise the employee to TRY and have her Dad reinstated under his old insurance plan ASAP. What do you have to lose? It's a 50/50 shot. Go for it.

Also, you might consider working with another local temp agency. Doesn't sound like your current agency is too effecitve in managing their workforce.

Pork, How many employees do you have - my payroll clerk can't seem to get payroll under control and be able to assist in HR. Just curious?

We have a policy that states cubicles shall be maintained in a neat and orderly manner at all times. That means that prior to shifts end, the last employee working in the cubicle picks up his/her mess and leaves it orderly for the next person. We …

With "decision making leave" day, these employees are on thier last leg of the corrective action process. We would not tolerate anyone straying from what they had agreed to do - mainly, return to being a productive employee. In all honesty, we do…

We call our suspension a "decision making leave". The employee gets one day off with pay. During that time, they are expected to: A. Think about if they really want thier job. B. Come in on the next day and either give notice or C. Come i…

Jessica, I OFTEN find myself in the very same position and the temptation to hire an overqualified person is great - especially when our branches are short staffed and everyone is working their pants off just to keep up (the 1st and 3rd of the mont…
