Help!

I work in a medical office and we have a surgery center. Nevada law states all employee's that work 8 hours continuos need to take a 1/2 lunch. My RN says she is not doing it because she has to take care of patients and does not have time. She said she would sign stateing we offer a lunch but she refueses. Is there any legal way of doing this?

Under Nevada labor regulations, an employee may voluntarily agree to forego any rest period or meal period, but the employer has the burden to prove the existence of any such agreement. Your best bet would be to have a written agreement with the employee stating that she's waiving her right to the lunch break.
