Wait time on Insurance Enrollment

I am curious to see what other companies have for a wait time prior to enrollment in a Health Insurance plan. When I first started our benefits did not kick in until the first of the month following 90 days of employment. Last year I changed that to the first of the month following 30 days of employment. Lately I have had a bunch of candidates we have made offers to complaining about this wait time. So hence the reason for my question - what is your company's policy and how large is your organization?

For health insurance, benefits kick in on the first of the month following 90 days of employment. Dental is on the first of the month following 6 months of employment. We have approximately 200 employees. The wait time is an issue for recruiting and retention.
For non-exempt employees, they are benefit eligible after 520 hours of service (this is approx. equivilent to 90 days if they don't miss any time); non-executive exempt employees are benefit eligible after 30 days; executive exempt employees are eligible immediately.
This is for two companies: one on the East Coast has 45 employees; one in the West has 35 employees.
All of our new hires are eligible from start date. But we usually only have 1-2 per year fortunately since we are small.
All insured benefits and leave accrulas are effective/begin date of hire or date of eligibility (part time going full time). 401(k) is 1st of month after 90 days.
Our benefits kick in the first of the month following employment.
