Supreme Court Case - What Does it Mean?

I got the impression that the recent Supreme Court ruling regarding the 180 day limit on pay discrimination cases had changed the long-standing rule on damages and filing discrimination claims.
I think it means that damages are limited to 180 days from the last offense of a continuing series of offenses; i.e. damages could be claimed for the entire period as long as the claim was filed within 180 days of the last offense. I think the new case means that damages cannot be claimed for any period that occurred more than 180 days prior to the filing of a claim - even if there was an unbroken ten years of pay discrimination. Does anyone else know if this is true?
